19 Large Quilted Lambskin Leather Flap Bag

A Chanel Flap Bag in supple lambskin leather. The Flap Bag has a storied history: it was first debuted by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in the '50s and then later re-envisioned by Karl Lagerfeld in the '80s. In 2005, Lagerfeld rereleased Coco's original 2.55 design as the Reissue (2.55 refers to the month and year—February 1955—of Coco's original design). The Flap Bag comes in many different styles. The most common materials are calfskin, lambskin, and caviar, though it is available in more exotic leathers such as lizard and ostrich. The most common sizes are Mini, Small, Medium, Large/Jumbo, and Maxi. This particular bag features a leather-woven Double-C turnlock closure and two sets of handles, long and short, for hand and shoulder carry.

Condition:Great

Overall: The exterior leather is in excellent condition overall, with some scratches and scuffs (most notably to the back bottom corners). There are several small spots of discolouring (possibly colour transfer) to the interior textile. The leather portion of the double-C closure shows discolouring. The hardware displays signs of wear, with discolouring and peeling occurring wherever the chain links rub against each other.
